Workshop 9: Managing Stress and Building Resilience
So easy to say, yet so hard to achieve. We live in a world where we are expected to ‘just cope’. This workshop explores stress and pragmatic ways to build your tolerance and resilience levels. In a safe space, learn how to be your best self, with life skills you can apply to your work and home.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, you will have built knowledge, skills and/or capability by:
– Assessing your stress and resilience levels
– Learning techniques and tools to manage stress
– Exploring ‘change’ and responses to change
– Developing personal strategies and skills to cope with change
– Demonstrating techniques for developing resilience, and supporting colleagues
– Effectively managing emotional responses to difficult situations
– Exploring the power of effective communication
– Creating a plan to manage or reduce or eliminate workplace and personal stressors.
– Creating a personalised toolkit for managing stressors and anger
