Workshop 6: Having difficult conversations

Life is about choices. You can choose to have or not have ‘the conversation’. As advocates of ‘better out than in’, Insight believes in the need to have difficult conversations in a diplomatic and respectful way, yet with clarity of message. Come to this workshop to learn to address issues whilst maintaining positive relationships.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, you will have built knowledge, skills and/or capability by:
– Identifying performance issues and working towards reversing this
– Understanding coaching and practicing approaches in different situations
– Understanding your role in effectively managing low performing staff and teams
– Managing your response in difficult situations
– Building positive relationships
– Demonstrating how your behaviours and practices can effect performance
– Developing ways to harness people’s strengths
– Working with difficult people, difficult situations and difficult circumstances
